Description:
Potamogeton lucens is a fresh water aquatic plant. Like all of his kind in Israel it is endagered, due to habitat loss. Unfortunately, wetlands in Israel are rare, often over-used or poluted. These plants are grown by Dr Michael Avishai in the shelter garden for endangered plants at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Theyt are grown in old-used bath tabs.
