Platanthera leucophaea is a species of perennial herb in the family orchids. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
