코끼리땃쥐 ( Korean )

코끼리땃쥐 또는 도약땃쥐는 코끼리땃쥐목(Macroscelidea)의 코끼리땃쥐과(Macroscelididae)에 속해 있는 아프리카에 원산지를 둔 주로 벌레를 잡아먹는 작은 포유류이다. 1997년 동물학자 조너선 킹든(Jonathan Kingdon)은 반투어에서 비롯한 이름인 셍기(sengi)로 부를 것을 제안했다.^[2]
