2011-04-02 Lower Austria, district Schwechat - bordering on Vienna XI. district; brownlands (170 msm Quadrant 7864/4).This is some cultivar of Prunus domestica gone wild, the type which is called "Griecherl, Gria" here in Austria. Its flowers are very similar to Prunus spinosa, but while the latter begins flowering without any green leaves on its twigs there's already green growth on those other Prunus species.
