Maximum longevity: 15.4 years (captivity)
Observations: These animals have been known to live at least 15.4 years in captivity (Richard Weigl 2005). Considering the longevity of similar species and the fact few animals have been kept in captivity, it is possible that maximum longevity is underestimated.
