Machaeranthera tanacetifolia is native to Utah but was used extensively here in a revegetation project here. It is not locally native nor to the northern half of the state. It is fairly low growing with dissected soft/felty leaves, very long involucral bracts, and showy flowers.Sept. 8, 2015, Murray, Salt Lake County, Utah
