Description: The color red, restored by my underwater strobe, neatly accents this sea star at Viuda (Widow) dive site in Coiba National Park, Panama, a UNESCO World Heritage site. At this depth, all of the natural red light has been filtered out by the seawater and this starfish looks dark brown without the aid of artificial light. This is a Panamic Cushion Star (Pentaceraster cumingi) Day 4. Date: 19 November 2007, 11:05. Source: Star Attraction. Author: LASZLO ILYES from Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
