Part of a flock of 17 Gray-crowned Rosy-finches seen in Herriman Utah during the Jordan River Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Definitely the bird of the day for me. Only seen them twice before.Here we have 2 different sub-species of Gray-crowned Rosy-finch. Above on the left is a 'Coastal,Gray-cheeked' race, the other 2 below right are of the 'Interior,Gray-crowned' race.
