Diaphus anderseni és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia
Reproducció
Assoleix la maduresa sexual quan arriba als 2,7 cm de longitud.[4]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí d'aigües profundes que viu entre 100-560 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental,[6] al Pacífic oriental (a prop de Hawaii)[7][8] i al Pacífic occidental (Japó,[9] Nova Zelanda[10] i Austràlia).[11][12][4][13]
