Caudal peduncle and sides behind pectoral fins covered with dark dots; dark lines around eye; sometimes with a dark stripe on midventral line of belly; fins translucent with dark-edged rays; upper and lower edge of caudal fin dark (Ref. 4919).Description: Characterized further by dark to medium brown on upper head and back and white below; faint brown to yellowish stripe from chin to lower tail base; yellowish rim around the eye; blue bands radiating from eye; caudal fins with dark brown upper and lower margins; depth of body at origin of anal fin 2.7-3.1 in SL; head length 2.1-2.5 in SL; snout length 1.5-1.9 in head length; caudal peduncle depth 2.3-3.5 in head length; slightly rounded caudal fin (Ref. 90102).
