Description: Abrothallus parmeliarum (Sommerf.) Arnold Image location: Serra de São Mamede, Portugal Lichenicolous fungus on Parmelia saxatilis. My first words are of thanks to the prestigious lichenologist Javier Etayo that once again gave me his precious help in the identification of this species, based on the photographs of specimens and microscopy. It was the first time I found lichenicolous fungus on Parmelia (in this case, P. Saxatilis). That same day and in the near site of this observation also found lichenicolous on P. sulcata, but in that case there was no apothecia. Based on microscopic features : For more information about this, see the observation page at Mushroom Observer. English | español | français | italiano | македонски | മലയാളം | português | +/−.
