Trema micrantha (Florida Trema) is a species of tree in the family Cannabaceae. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Amapá, Paraná, Pantanal, Pampa, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Piauí, GoiáS, Bahia, Espirito Santo, US Minor Outlying Islands, Roraima, Santa Catarina, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Caatinga, Tocantins, ParaíBa, Sergipe, Maranhao, Pernambuco, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, and Alagoas. They have green flowers and drupes. Flowers are visited by Hyperaspis ornatella and Florida Carpenter Ant. Individuals can grow to 17.45 m.
