Distribution: quadricarinatus: Brazil (Campos Cerrados of Estados Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Goias, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), Paraguay, C Bolivia (one specimen).
Type locality: not given in original description; restricted to Asuncion, Paraguay by BAILEY 1955.
maculoventris: NE Argentina (Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, Santa Fe), W Paraguay (Chaco forests and associated vegetation), Bolivia (Tarija; elevation 440 m, EMBERT 2002).
Type locality: Corrientes province, Argentina.
