Small to medium-sized tree with a straight trunk and somewhat drooping foliage. Leaves narrowly oblong or elliptic, grey-green with a wavy, entire margin. Young leaves pinkish brown. Flowers in slender spikes, pale yellow, turning silvery hairy when fruiting.
