Poisonous mushrooms. Vegetate in deciduous forests, mainly in beech, the rich limestone soil. Perio vegetation is from June to September. It is relatively rare species.
A small, bright species found on rich soils such as mulch and gardens, as well as on decayed wood. Here found on logged and burned forest sections of the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia.
