Platycodon grandiflorus (Balloon Flower) is a species of perennial herb in the family bellflowers. They are native to Eastern Asia. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Pure Green Augochlora, Xylocopa virginica virginica, Brown-belted Bumblebee, and Spotted Cucumber Beetle.
