Bilaterally symmetrical worm-shaped mollusc of length 1 - 3.5cm. The mantle secretes a thick cuticle covered in outward projecting calcareous spicules. The foot lies within a ventral pedal groove, which starts at a ciliated fossette behind the mouth, and ends at the cloaca. Mucus is secreted into this groove from pedal glands just behind the mouth. This species has lost its radula.
