51 to 64 light crossbands on the body; dark brown or reddish blotches are 4 to 9 scale rows wide, and extending onto the sides but not onto the ventrals; dorsal blotches may break up on the sides forming a series of small round blotches which may include parts of the second and third scale rows; reticulum of white and dark brown background very distinct on head. This species is recognized to occur on the islands of Batan, Luzon, Mindoro, and Polillo in the Philippines; however, vouchered localities exist only for populations on Luzon and Mindoro islands.
