Chaetoceros decipiens is a species of diatoms in the family Chaetocerotaceae. They are native to SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, and Rio Grande Do Norte. Dead Chaetoceros decipiens form siliceous oozes.
