Image of Hermit Crabs
Description:
Description: King (Lithodid) Crab
Large lithodid crab seen in the rocky areas only. Up to 500 mm in total width. Has the body shape and gait you would expect from local species Paralomis cristulata and africana. It doesn’t look exactly like either of them, although it is probably closely related. For now, it is most like Paralomis cristulata – previously known from the Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau.
