Description:

MUSHROOM INEDIBLE. Chlorosplenium fungi of which belongs Dermataceae (goblet fungus family). Species name consists of the prefix "Aerug" which means green and blue and the suffix "ascenso"it has meaning become. This name comes from the color of the mycelium of the fungus its substrate, ie. tree or branch on which they grow, the unmistakable green-blue color.Apotecium shaped dish or bowl has a diameter of 8 mm and 3-foot standing at a height of not more than 3 mm. Spore size 6-10 x 1.5-2 are fusiform (spindle-shaped), with one spare fat globules at each end. The overhead of the body of the fungus can be seen on the fallen branches of deciduous trees, especially oak.
