Hydrangea serrata var - Flickr - peganum
Description:
Description: I don't know which variety this is - I nicked a cutting years ago from a garden in Lewes, Sussex. It was mainly the extraordinary deep wine red colour of the sterile florets in autumn that attracted me. The colour seems to be best on chalky soils. Date: 5 December 2011, 12:51. Source: Hydrangea serrata var. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
