Description:
Description: English: Baby two-toed sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni) at the Caña Blanca wildlife sanctuary on the Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica. It had been rescued after being separated from its mother in the wild somehow. In lieu of a mother to cling to, they gave it a hot water bottle, which you can see beneath it in its basket. Date: 6 July 2008. Source: Own work. Author: C. Horwitz, uploaded with help of husband Steven G. Johnson.
