Pelagia nocticula from Corsica

Image of Purplestriped jellyfishes

Description:

Description: English: Pelagia noctiluca, a common but very beautiful jellyfish in the Mediterranean Sea which is moved exclusively by the current. This is why this organism is called plankton. This specie is urticant but all jellyfish are not. I met this one in the North of Corsica in free diving.Italiano: Pelagia nocticula, una medusa comune nel mar Mediterraneo.
