Description: Guest picture.. This shot if from Coleman Little (Biologist from Arkansas). He writes: "This is Megachile compta, an unusual catch for the Fort Smith area of Arkansas. I only caught one. But from what Mike Arduser told me, the closest record of this species was ~600 miles to the west. The photos were taken with a Wild M400 Photomacroscope, Canon Rebel T4i, and processed with Helicon Focus stacking software. Date: 7 April 2013, 22:11.
