Description:

Summary Description: I found this millipede out at "The Desert" in North Dakota, which is actually a wooded/sandy area near the Missouri river. It seems to be the most common species here. It's definitely Julida, possibly from the Parajulidae family. Not sure which species. If anyone can help ID, that would be awesome. I can tell you one thing, this guy would NOT sit still. I'd touch him, and he might roll for a second, then immediately unroll and keep on crawling. View the original size for more detail of the 'pede. Date: 5 July 2009, 15:54. Source: Julida.
