Keel-billed toucan
Description:
Description: English: Recorded at Roatan Butterfly Garden, Roatan, Honduras. This toucan seemed to object to the attention of the guide and tourists. I took a short video of the toucan with my Canon Digital Elph camera, extracted the audio from the AVI file, and ran it through a high pass filter at 660Hz to take out some of the background noise of tourists mumbling and walking around. (The squawk's principle frequencies run from 1.2 to 5 kHz.). Date: July 2009. Source: Own work. Author: Thatcher.
