Description: L: 7-10mm This "beauty" is another North American Invader - cousin of the native treehopper Centrotus cornutus - www.flickr.com/photos/gbohne/7815301460/ that threatens cultivators of Roses & Wine. This tree hopper feeds on various plants, for oviposition it prefers especially Rosa; Rosaceae like (Crataegus and fruit trees in general), but grapevines (Vitis, Vitaceae) and less common other wooden plants (groves) and sometimes this treehopper feeds on herbaceous plants, too.
