White-Tipped Fin (2072305639)
Description:
Description: One look at the dorsal fin and it's pretty obvious how the White-Tipped Reef Shark (Triaenodon obesus) gets its name. These nocturnal sharks sleep on the sandy sea floor during the day. The last thing they want is to be bothered by a photo-hungry tourist (that would be me) creeping around with a camera. This patient creature was photographed at Iglesia (Church) dive site in Coiba National Park, Panama. Day 6. Date: 21 November 2007, 10:23. Source: White-Tipped Fin Uploaded by Jacopo Werther.
