Description:
Very dark individual from shaded canyon Above dark; below gray with red on throat, groin, and hind legs. Vocalized squeaks and growls when handled. Measured: SVL 83 mm (3 in.). Spotted on bank of creek with steep sides and cavern providing shelter from trickling seepage raining down. Creek sheltered by cliffs and rarely exposed to sun.
