2 years ago I posted a picture of this tree in bloom. http://www.treknature.com/gallery/photo67835.htm This time I found it in wonderful red autumn foliage and in fruit. The small fruits were soft, one seeded and very tasty, almost like a quince compote. Sorbus torminalis grows in Europe and eastwatrds to the Caucasus. In Israel it reaches its southern border.
