Tulbaghia simmleri is a nice perennial herb from South Africa. Interestingly, it blooms in mid-winter. The flowers are scented.

Tulbaghia simmleri is a nice perennial herb from South Africa. Interestingly, it blooms in mid-winter. The flowers are scented. Here u can see a flower closeup. Several days ago I posted the whole flowering head.

Sweet Society Garlic has no garlic scent, instead the beautiful lavender blooms actually have a sweet smell. This photo was taken in the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in Hong Kong.
