Spermacoce capitata (Baldhead False Buttonweed) is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Ceará, Piauí, Tocantins, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Distrito Federal, RondôNia, Amapá, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, ParaíBa, Pernambuco, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, GoiáS, Maranhao, Alagoas, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pseudodoros clavatus and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 0.24 m.
