Aegilops triuncialis (Barbed Goatgrass) is a species of annual grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Albania, Bulgaria, Morocco, Spain, Lebanon, Turkey, Georgia, Israel, Cyprus, Iraq, Yugoslavia, France, Italy, Algeria, Iran, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Greece, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
