Paspalum conjugatum (Hilograss) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pantanal, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Piauí, Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Caatinga, GoiáS, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Amapá, Pampa, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Paraná, The Contiguous United States, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, ParaíBa, Tocantins, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Norte, Ceará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Alagoas. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 2.8 m.
