Eriophorum vaginatum (Hare's Tail Cottongrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Alaska, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Western North America, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, North America, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
