Carex atlantica (Prickly Bog Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.8 feet.
