Carex aquatilis (Aquatic Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, North America, Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 2.9 feet.
