Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen Palm) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Pampa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Bahia, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso Do Sul, GoiáS, Espirito Santo, and SãO Paulo. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Queen of Spain Fritillary. Individuals can grow to 17 m.
