Serenoa repens (Saw Palmetto) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Florida, Eastern North America, and United States. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Bicyrtes quadrifasciatus, Sphecodes heraclei, Honey bee, and Colpa octomaculata. Individuals can grow to 7.5 m.
