Blechnum (Midsorus Fern) is a genus of herb in the family blechnoids. They are native to Puerto Rico, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have pinnatifid leaves. Individuals can grow to 7 m. They have alternation of generations.
