Blechnum is a genus of herb in the family blechnoids. They are native to Alaska, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. They have pinnatifid leaves. Individuals can grow to 7 m. They have alternation of generations.
