Fatsia japonica (Paperplant) is a species of shrub in the family Araliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern Asia. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Vespula flaviceps, Light brown apple moth, and Phrissogonus laticostata. Individuals can grow to 3.5 m.
