Croton capitatus (Hogwort) is a species of annual herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Great Southern White, Southern Broken-Dash, Long-windged Skipper, and Common buckeye. Individuals can grow to 0.46 m.
