Quercus lobata (Valley Oak) is a species of tree in the family Fagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Western North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 100 feet.
