Solidago altissima (Canada Goldenrod) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Eumenes fraternus, Northern Paper Wasp, Small Copper, and Zethus spinipes. Individuals can grow to 213.5 cm.
