Cornus alba (Red Barked Dogwood) is a species of shrub in the family dogwoods. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Marmalade hoverfly, Buff-tailed bumblebee, Honey bee, and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 2.4 m.
