They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by cabbage butterfly, Eriozona syrphoides, Lasiommata megera, and Masked Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.13 m.
