Suborbital large, with naked zone posteriorly. Maxilla smaller than 1/2 eye diameter. Broadest teeth with 5 cusp. Predorsal line fully scaled. No caudal gland or modified scales in adult male. Interhaemal spines 16 to 26, forming keel on lower edge of caudal peduncle.
