Rosa nutkana (Nootka Rose) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, United States, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves, red flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Western Tiger Swallowtail, Rhynchites bicolor, and Melangyna triangulifera. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
