Crataegus is a genus of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They are native to Western North America, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Alaska, and Canada. Flowers are visited by Andrena nasonii, Vanessa virginiensis, Apis mellifera, and Tachina magnicornis. Individuals can grow to 9.7 m.
